I have had a wonderful and magical experience here at Samasati. Especially, a Huge “ thank you”. To Lucie for always trying her hardest to make our stay so wonderful. The food was delicious (and I am   an not ever a vegetarian). Also a huge          “ thank you” to the rest of the Samasati. “ Crew ” for making this such a beautiful experience. Thank you so much for the incredible experience. We had a terrific time  nice people, beautiful spot in the jungle. I will miss the howlers monkeys and the peace we found live. The staff is so great. We hope to be back someday.

Samasati is a magical oasis within the Jungle Mountains overlooking the Caribbean Sea. My experience there was beyond expectation. In these fast cultural times it is a great opportunity to live in an environment where the natural world still dominates the day. I learned so much from the jungle; its sounds and silences. I learned from the sea. I learned from the colorful nuance of people who came and worked at Samasati, and I developed great relationships within this evolving web. I learned about myself. Life was simple; the air clean; time reflective; food nourishing; fruits rich; exercise plentiful; the sun enjoyed (thoroughly). For me, Samasati Nature Retreat is an enchanted sound-scape of beauty and unending stories. I highly recommend going there and experiencing it for yourself.  

Yes! I had the great fortune of attending this Teacher Training. Marianne is a living Yogi and if you take the time (and you should) to attend this training you will see for yourself. She is extremely knowledgable, a fantastic teacher and coach, personable, funny, etc. Marianne brings with her a loving and kind approach. Marianne taught more about yoga in 2 weeks than I knew from years of practice. I feel that I now have a clear picture of what Yoga is, how I want to practice and what I want to teach. You will be rewarded for doing this program because it is far more than about yoga. You will travel to an exotic and beautiful locale, immerse yourself in yoga and develop a long lasting bond with all the other wonderful students all while practicing yoga with a living Yogi...sounds great and truly is one of the best experiences of my life== Answer == Going to Costa Rica and attending Marianne Wells' YTT was very emotional, as I had been there before and I knew the location would be perfect for such an experience. Having practiced for 6 years I was looking for a more intimate ,natural setting and the rain forest is perfect.I had looked at alot of other possibilities, but this one felt right and worked well with my busy schedule. The hours are long but everyone works at their own physical level .There were people from all over the world and all stages of life. We had an exceptional group and all connected and shared our knowledge.Marianne covers alot of information on many styles of yoga. You will have hours of physical practice along with gaining information about the history of yoga,meditation and anatomy. The journey is what you make it and Marianne is ready to assist. Her voice is wonderful, I nicknamed her "Queen of Savasana" as when you close your eyes and listen you hear her smile. Marianne's style is warm and authentic and is sure to stir emotions within.This was a life changing experience for many, and an experience I will never forget

At Samasati the third Yoga Teacher training with Marianne WElls just ended and 19 people have received their certification as yoga teachers. Three more yoga teacher training are on their way between 2008 and 2009. A wonderful place where to learn yoga and be with yourself in the process. Empowering and reveling in the self discovery of your abilities , strengths and vulnerabilities.
